Sophomore, Marcus McCarthy was selected as an NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball All-American Honorable Mention. The All-Americans are selected by the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee.
Marcus started in all thirty games for the Bayhawks this season and led all Bayhawks scorers with 18.7 points per game. 8.3 assists per game was enough to lead Region XXI and places him third within the NJCAA. Marcus was named NJCAA Division III Player of the Week during the 2018-19 season and was named First Team All-Region XXI.
All of these accolades come off of a season where the Bayhawks held a spot in the national rankings for three months and ranked as high as #4.
