Fall River, MA -- This week's rain and wind has forced Region XXI to shift around the men's and women's soccer tournament schedules. The men's first round games were scheduled for Tuesday 10/26 and that game was eventually played on Thursday evening. The women's soccer tournament was originally scheduled to be played at Massasoit Community College, but again the weather over the last several days had an impact on field conditions forcing a site and date change for the women's soccer tournament.

Both of the women's  soccer semi-final games will be played on Sunday 10/31 at Durfee High School in Fall River, MA. The #1 seed Massasoit will take on #4 Springfield Technical Community College at 11:00 AM and #2 Bristol will take on #3 Holyoke Community College at 1:30 PM. Winners will advance to the Region XXI Championship on Monday 11/1.  The regional champion will move on to the National Tournament hosted at Genesee Community College in Batavia New York from 11/11-11/14.

In the men's tournament, #5 Bristol (8-8-0) eventually played the #4 seed Quinsigamond Community College and earned the 1-0 on a Matt Ziehl goal advancing Bristol to the semi-finals at #1 Bunker Hill Community College on Sunday 10/31 at 2:00 PM. This game will be played at Revere High School. The Winner advances to the the Region XXI Championship on Tuesday 11/2.  This years region champion will move on to the National Tournament at Herkimer College in Herkimer, New York from 11/11-11/14.
