Runner Up at the MCCAC Tournament

The #2 Bayhawks fall to #1 Bunker Hill Bulldogs in the MCCAC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon, 87-77.

The officials were able to break in their whitstles at Sunday's game, which had sixty-three fouls called by the end of regulation.  The Bulldogs attempted fifty free throws, while the Bayhawks attempted thrirty-four on the afternoon.

Jerell Gomes led the way with 24 points and the next leading scorer on the 'hawks was Jeremiah Ephraim with 10 points.  Bristol advanced to the championship game after defeating Northern Essex Community College on Saturday, 109-75.

The Bayhawks are back in action next weekend at the Region XXI Tournament at Springfield Technical Community College.  The winner of this tournament will advance to the NJCAA National Tournament at Sullivan County Community College.
