Men's Basketball Defeats UCAP 105-89

The men's basketball team played well Saturday, defeating a tough UCAP team by a score of 105-89. The win improves the men to an impressive 13-4 on the season.

The bayhawks were led by high scorer Danny Mendez, who scored 24 points on the afternoon for the Bayhawks. Quincy Pope scored 21 points, and added 5 rebounds and 3 steals to his stat line on the day. Armani Baker dropped in 20 points and added 7 boards, while emerging star Jose Mercado had a 15 point 4 steal game for the Bayhawks. Kevin Desire and Dez Jernigan contributed with 6 points and 9 rebounds a piece.

The men next play Tuesday, February 7 at 7pm at Bishop Connolly. They host Quinsigamond Community College.
