The men's basketball team defeated Gateway on Saturday in one of the more memorable games in recent memory by a score of 61-58. The win improves the men to 14-4 on the season.

The Bayhawks started off slowly, scoring just 17 points in the first half, but Coach D got his team ready to play in the second half and they outscored Gateway 44-26 in half 2. 

The Bayhawks were led by Dezmond Jernigan, who scored 16 points including the game winner. Jernigan also added 11 boards and 4 steals on the afternoon. Armani Baker helped the cause by adding 13 points of his own to go along with his 5 rebounds on the day. Danny Mendez scored 13 points, while Marcus McCarthy dropped in 10 to help with the win.

The Bayhawks next play on Tuesday February 14 vs Massasoit at 7pm at Massasoit.
