The men's basketball team lost a heartbreaker on Saturday to a talented MassBay team by a single bucket, 72-70.

The Bayhawks were led by Jose Mercado on the afternoon, who scored a team high 19 points and added 5 rebounds on the day. Armani Baker scored 14, while Quincy Pope added 10 points for the Bayhawks. Marcus McCarthy dropped in 11 points and added 7 boards, 7 assists, and 2 steals to his statline on the day. Luis Rosario chipped in 6 points in his reserve role for the Bayhawks.

The Bayhawks will play in the Region XXI Tournament this coming weekend at Massasoit. The semi-finals will be held on Saturday, while the Regional Final will be held on Sunday.
