The Men's Basketball team capped their Sophomore Night with a terrific 104 - 95 win against CCRI. Sophomores Juan Espinal, Caleb Provitt, Corey Green, and Luis Rosario Rivera were recognized prior to the game in appreciation of their dedication to the team and to wish them well as they move on to the next chapter of their lives. The game which followed was a testament to the teams hard work and dedication. After trailing by 2 at the end of the first half, the Bayhawks scored 67 points in the second half to win the game. Joshua Winbush led the team scoring 24 points with 11 rebounds and 7 assists while also making 2 blocks and 2 steals. Zecaree Veiga followed up with 17 points, then Juan Espinal with 16, followed by Corey Green and Marcus Mitchell both scoring 15 points, and Harkan Arda Coban scoring 13. Alex Holloway came in clutch as well with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. The Men's Basketball team are moving on to the MCCAC State Semifinals against Northern Essex Community College this Saturday 2/24/18. Contact the Athletics Department for details.
