Men's Basketball Earns MCCAC Title

This past weekend at Springfield Technical Community College, the Bayhawks were crowned Massachusetts Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC) Champions after defeating Bunker Hill Community College in the championship game, 67-66!  The Bayhawks, the number one seed in the MCCAC Tournament, earned a semi-final win over Northern Essex 89-63 on Saturday afternoon to advance to the championship game on Sunday.

 

The 2018 MCCAC champions saw three members named to the All-Tournament Team, as well as the tournament MVP.  Josh Winbush, 6'7" freshman (Lake Charles, LA), Zecaree Veiga, 6'4" freshman (Providence, RI), and Alex Holloway 5'10" freshman (Pawtucket, RI) were named to the All-Tournament Team and Alex Holloway was also named tournament MVP.

The Bayhawks last won the MCCAC Championship during the 2015 season.
