Fall River, MA -- Bayhawks Men's Basketball improves to 8-0 with a 126-75 win over Northern Essex Community College.
The Bayhawks were sparked by key offensive performances from Zac Viega (So. Riverside, RI) and Charles (Manny) Martinez (Fr. Providence, RI). Viega led all scorers with 27 and going a perfect 9-9 from the field. Martinez was just as impressive with 20 points and a perfect 7-7 from the floor.
All Bayhawks players scored at least 6 points as the team shot an impressive 65 percent for the game along with a team total 26 assists. 126 points ties the program record for points in a game.
The Bayhawks next host a tough Quincy College at home on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
