Fall River, MA -- The Bristol Community College Men's Basketball team is off to its best start in school history adding an impressive 76-51 win on the road against Massasoit Community College to improve to 14-1.
Leading the Bayhawks last night was Zac Viega (Riverside,RI) with 27 points and 6 rebounds while fellow sophomore sensation Josh Winbush (Lake Charles, LA) tossed in 17 points to go along with his 10 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.
Also, capping off the historic night for Bristol, Marcus McCarthy (East Providence, RI) tied a school record with his 3rd career triple double scoring 15 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists.
The Bayhawks will be on the road Thursday night as they face The University of Connecticut at Avery Point in Groton, CT. Game time starts at 7:30pm!
