Bayhawks Rebound from Saturdays Defeat and Dominate

Rodriquez, Winbush, and McCarthy dominate in a 117-72 road win at Quincy College.

#5 in the country Bristol CC (22-2 overall, 20-1 in conference) played solid defense in the first half followed by an explosive �� offense in the second. Joshua Winbush (Lake Charles, LA) played his 3rd straight game where he was just special all-around, shooting well from the floor with some emphatic dunks and blocks. Winbush finished the night with 29 points 11 rebounds 7 assists and 4 blocks.
Marcus McCarthy (East Providence, RI) added to his school record triple with his 5th of the season. McCarthy had 24 points 14 rebounds and 11 assists. 
As dominate Winbush and McCarthy was the evening belonged to the gritty defense and the offensive explosion �� by Dontell Rodriquez (Providence, RI) who nearly tied a school record with 8 made 3pt field goals including a stretch where he hit 5 in a row. Rodriguez finished with a career-high 32 points. 
Rodriguez's offensive boost was much needed with the absence of scorer Zecaree Viega who did not make the trip because of the flu. 
Rounding up the the rest freshmen Stanley Freeman (New Bedford, MA) added 13 points 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Malik Charles (Taunton, MA) 15 points 8 rebounds and 3 assists.
The Bayhawks efficiency was impressive setting a school record with 31 assists on 45 made baskets.

The Bayhawks are finally home Thursday after a long 5 game road stint. Bristol will match up against Ben Franklin Tech game starts at 7pm!
