Springfield, MA -- The Bayhawks finish up the week 2-1 after a loss at Springfield Technical Community College, 66-62 at the end of tough week of Region XXI action. The Bayhawks entered Saturday's contest 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the Region, while Springfield was 4-4 overall and a 3-1 Region record.

Bristol and Springfield Tech. played each tight all afternoon with the Bayhawk taking a 3-point lead into halftime, 33-30. The Bayhawks foul trouble in the second half gave Springfield Tech the edge and enough room to secure the 66-62 win over Bristol.

Once again Dion Hazard Jr. led the way for the Bayhawks with 16 points and Xavier Mendez chipped in 15 points. Dion Hards Jr. is currently, 16th in the NJCAA in points per game and Xavier Mendez 25th in the NJCAA in points per game and 4th in field goal percentage.

Bristol returns to the court on Thursday evening at Roxbury Community College (5-4/3-2).
