Bayhawks Season Comes to an End with Semi-Final Loss to Rhode Island

Warwick, RI -- The 2021-22 season comes to an end for men's basketball as the Commnuity College of Rhode Island rolls to a 105-72 win in the Region XXI semi-final game on Saturday afternoon.The Bayhawks concluded the season with a 16-6 overall record and 12-6 in Region XXI and finishing 4th in the region. Bristol advanced to the semi-final game after a first round win over Roxbury Community College.

Bristol went into the semi-finals without two starters, Abou Jobe and Tyler Cicione. A bright spot for the Bayhawks was freshman, Elijah Rodriguez who stepped up and scored a season high 19 points matched by Dion Hazard Jr who also added 19 points. The Lake Chalres, LA duo had a combined 27 points, Braylon Johnson 14 points and Tyler Nunnery 13 points.
