Men's Soccer Earns 4-0 Victory in Soccer Opener

The 2015 Men's soccer season got underway in a big way yesterday with an impressive 4-0 victory over Holyoke at Britland Park. The Bayhawks were led by Felipe Silva, who made an impressive debut by scoring two goals in the first half of play for the Bayhawks. Silva's goals were assisted by Jonthon Soares and Yuri Maipira. Jared Ferreira also made his debut for the Bayhawks and scored his first collegiate goal early in the second half of yesterday's game. Alonzo Madeira also scored for the Bayhawks later in the second half and his goal was assisted by Jonathon Soares once again for his second assist of the game. Josh Cardoso manned the net for the Bayhawks, and recorded his first shutout of the season by stopping 8 Holyoke shots. The men will play next on Wednesday 9/9 at 3:30 at Bunker Hill Community College, with their next home game being 9/23 at 3:30 vs. Dean College at Britland Park.
