The Bristol Bayhawks men's soccer team was defeated by region rival Bunker Hill 2-0 in a closely played contest in Boston on Thursday afternoon. The loss ends a 3 game win streak for the Bayhawks and drops their record to 5-2 on the season.
The Bayhawks had trouble mounting much of an offensive attack on the afternoon, but played well defensively on the day. Goalie Eric Franco allowed only 2 goals on 17 shots, and stopped a penalty kick for the Bayhawks to limit perenial region power Bunker Hill to only two goals.
The Bayhawks next play on Saturday 10/1/2016 at Durfee High School against Ben Franklin.
