Men's Soccer Ties in Double Overtime

Bristol Men's Soccer ended their game at home on Tuesday in a 1-1 tie against Monroe Community College - New Rochelle after double overtime. It was an intense first half with both teams struggling to gain a foothold against the other.  The second half was much the same until Bradley Texiera (7) broke away and scored the first goal of the game with an assist from Team Captain Nathan Carvalho (11).  Monroe came back and scored to tie the game despite a valient effort from Bristol Goalie Wyatt Pinto (1) who made 4 saves throughout the game.  Two hard fought overtimes later the game was called.  The men are excited and training hard for their next game on Saturday 9/21 when the men and women's teams travel up to Holyoke Community College to face off against the Cougars.
