Bristol Soccer Shuts Out the Competition

Tuesday was a brilliant day for Bayhawks Soccer with both the men's and women's teams shutting out their opponents.  The Men won 4-0 at home against the Mass Bay Buccaneers while the women were in New York winning 5-0 in their second match up, and second shut out, against Monroe Express.  Paulo Schultz (10) scored the opening and closing goals for the men's team, the first with an assist from Bradley Teixeira (7) and the last on a penalty kick.  Guilherme Antunes (9) scored the other two goals, closing the first half with an assist from Salaheddine Haymess (22) and opening the second heading the ball in off another assist from Salaheddine. Wyatt Pinto (1) saved everything that came his way, coming off the field at the end of the game with 3 saves. The Women's team, meanwhile, exploded onto the field with Alyssa Tortora (17) scoring 3 goals in the first 10 minutes.  Mackenzie Kennedy (10) finished off the half with a 4th goal for Bristol.  Tortora scored once more in the second half to round out the game. Haley Demello (2) kept our goal clear, saving 4 throughout the game.
