Your Bayhawks played through the rain on Wednesday winning 3-2 in double overtime against Quincy College. After an early goal by Quincy, Bradley Teixeira (7) tied the game up with an assist from Paulo Schultz (10). Shultz would then score on a penalty kick less than 5 minutes later, ending the half with the Bayhawks up 2-1. During the second half the sky opened making both teams fight twice as hard. Quincy tied the game late in the second half leading to overtime. 10 minutes of grueling back and forth left the score tied at 2-2. As the second overtime started, Guilherme Antunes (9) took the ball and soared in true Bayhawk fashion down the field, putting the ball in the back of the net and putting a swift end to the game. The team ran out on to the field to celebrate as the rain began to taper off. Double overtime was over in less than 30 seconds. The Men are at home again Tuesday 10/8 facing off against Quinsigamond, come show your support during what is sure to be another exciting game.
