On May 1st 2024, Dave Pacheco became the  Head Men's Soccer Coach at Bristol Community College. Director of Athletics and Recreation, Brian Fernandes stated "We are excited for Coach Pacheco, as he's a natural fit with our program. He has demonstrated the ability to lead on and off the playing field."'

 

Dave Pacheco rejoins Bristol Men's Soccer after two seasons as the assistant men's soccer coach at Umass Dartmouth. Coach Pacheco brings a wealth of coaching experience and knowledge over multiple levels of soccer amassed over the past 10 years.

 

From 2018-2022, Coach Pacheco was the men’s assistant and goalkeeper coach for Bristol Community College helping all aspects of the program. In those four years Bristol CC qualified for two NCJAA Region 21 tournaments (no tournament in 2020), making the final and semi-finals, respectively. Prior to Bristol CC, Pacheco spent five years with Bishop Stang High School, spending the last year as varsity head coach.

 

Coach Pacheco brings a host of experience from the club level working with such clubs as Expos Soccer and Futsal Club, St. Michaels FC and most recently Bayside FC, where Pacheco has spent the last five plus years. Coach Pacheco is currently an assistant coach for the boys’ Bayside MLS Next Academy, head coach for U16 EDP, and the goalkeeping coach for the boys’ MLS Next academy, EDP and NECSL programs. During his time with Bayside, he developed student-athletes who have gone on to play at the collegiate division 1, 2, and 3 levels. Coach Pacheco currently holds a US Soccer D-License, and United Soccer Coaches GK3 Diploma.

 

Prior to his coaching career, Coach Pacheco played soccer for Massasoit Community College.

 

Coach Pacheco currently resides in Providence, Rhode Island where he serves as a Program Director for a non-profit juvenile justice program.
