Women's Basketball Returns To BCC With Convincing 64-43 Victory

Bristol Community College is proud to have women's basketball once again, and earned their first victory under new Head Coach Arom Murrell yesterday in their first game of the season. The women defeated Quinsigamond Community College by 21 points 64-43.

Coach Murrell recruited all over and even outside of the country to bring in top talent to compete in Region XXI this season, and it seemed to pay dividends last night with the Bayhawks getting the victory.

Tatianna Ramos led all scorers with 18 points, and also played great defense by adding 19 rebounds to her stat line. Debra Banks also added in 14 points for the Bayhawks to go along with her 15 boards on the night. Misah Edwards scored 11 points and had 4 assists while running the offense for the Bayhawks. Megan Parish also contributed with 11 points, 4 steals and 2 assists.

The Bayhawks will look for their second straight victory this Saturday in New Hampshire.
