The Bristol Community College Lady Bayhawks basketball team cruised to an impressive victory Tuesday night 83-28 at rival Bunker Hill. The victory gave the women their second win of the season.

Coach Arom Murrell stated that this was the most complete game the women have played all season, and was happy with the way the team performed in the victory.

Shannon Rosensteel led the way offensively with 26 points on the night for the Bayhawks. Rosensteel also added 12 rebounds and 4 steals. Misah Edwards added 20 points 4 assists and 5 steals for the Bayhawks, while Katia Luna contributed 19 points and 7 steals. Meg Parish was the all around star of the game, and nearly had a quadrupule-double with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals, and 10 assists. D.J. Banks also scored 6 points and grabbed 7 boards and Aadia Contractor contributed 2 points and 6 rebounds in the victory.

The women next play Thursday December 1, at 6 pm against Massasoit, at Bishop Connolly in Fall River.
