The Lady Bayhawks basketball team rolled to an easy victory Saturday vs. Springfield Tech by a score of 78-51. The win improves the Bayhawks record to 6-10 and 5-4 in conference play. 

The Bayhawks were led by freshman standout Shannon Rosensteel, who scored 18 points and added 21 boards on the day. Rosensteel also tallied 3 steals for the Bayhawks on defense. Captain Meg Parish dropped in 16 points and had 8 assists and 3 steals for the Bayhawks, while the sharp shooting Katia Luna had 14 points on the day, shooting 40% from 3 point land. Captain DJ Banks had an outstanding game both on offense and defense with 15 points and 8 boards for the Bayhawks. Misah Edwards ran the offense and tallied 13 assists, 4 rebounds, and 11 points, while 6th man Aadia Contractor added 5 rebounds and 4 points for the Bayhawks. 

The Women next play Thursday, January 26th at home at 6pm vs defending national champion Roxbury.
