The Lady Bayhawks faced a very talented Gateway team on Saturday and were defeated 92-70. The loss drops the women to 7-14 overall.

The Bayhawks fought hard all game and were led by Katia Luna, who scored 17 points on the afternoon to go along with 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Misah Edwards dropped in 14 points, and had 3 steals, while captain Meg Parish had 13 points, 6 assists and 2 steals. Captain DJ Banks scored 10 points and grabbed 5 boards, while Aadia Contractor had her most dominant game of the season scoring 10 points and pulling down 7 rebounds.

The Bayhawks next play Massasoit on Tuesday February 14 at 5 pm at Massasoit.
