Bayhawks Women's Basketball Faces Tough Loss to CCRI

Your Bayhawks Women's Basketball team lost their Spring Opener to CCRI 115-14.  Head Coach Kyle Erha said of the game, "We lost at the #4 team in the country, CCRI, last night, 115-14.  Mikalya Nadeau and Tieyanna Yancey did all the scoring, each with seven points.  It was our first game in a month and it felt like it.  CCRI is a phenomenal team and well deserving of their ranking, they played as close to perfect as you can over 40 minutes.  Our team is extremely inexperienced this year and with such a limited schedule this season we're focusing on every opportunity to play someone as a chance to get better.  And with that in mind, and despite the score, our second half was significantly better than our first half.  We were much more active and engaged in the second half and that led to us being more aggressive on both sides of the ball, which is what we hope to carry forward."  Join your Bayhawks at home January 14th at 1 PM for their game against UConn Avery Point.
