The Bristol Community College Bayhawks women's soccer team got back on the winning track yesterday with a solid 2-0 victory over visiting Bunker Hill.
The Bayhawks dominated the offensive side of the field against Bunker Hill outshooting Bunker Hill 12 shots to 1. Lindsay Boutin got the scoring started early for the Bayhawks with her third goal of the season. Boutin's goal was assisted by Amanda Tiburtino. The Bayhawks scored their final goal of the half and the game when Erin Bosse found the back of the net for her second goal of the season.
The defense also had a stellar day allowing just 1 shot on net. Glenda Ortiz recorded the shutout for the Bayhawks.
The win brings the women's record back to .500 to 3-3-1, and matches last year's win total.
