Bristol Women's Soccer exploded onto the field in their 4-0 season opener against Monroe Express. 35 seconds in, Mackenzie Kennedy (10) scored with an assist by Alyssa Tortoro (17). Tortoro would go on to score two goals herself in the first half, one via a penalty kick. Both teams played hard in the second half but the Bayhawks defense stole the show, routing Monroe's forwards in every drive. Kennedy rounded out the game by scoring the final goal with 1 minute to spare. Congratulations to coach Tassinari and the Women's Soccer team on an exciting first game. We can't wait to see what the season has in store for them. Go Bayhawks!
