On June 1st 2024, Charles Hayes became the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Bristol Community College. Director of Athletics and Recreation, Brian Fernandes stated "We are excited to see Coach Hayes lead our program. His local experience will benefit him in developing a successful Women's program."

 

Charles Hayes joins Bristol after seven seasons at the Argosy Middle School as Head Coach for both the boys' and girls' teams. Coach Hayes has been heavily involved in coaching youth at the CYO league and the AAU organization, Team Providence Athletics. 

 

Coach Hayes prides himself on being a 24/7 coach, which means he's always available to help his players on and off the court. Coach's focus is on player development to help everyone reach their goals. His model is "Just Believe and We Will Be!"

 

Coach Hayes was raised in Brooklyn, NY and now resides in Fall River, MA. He also works at the Argosy Collegiate Charter School as a Middle School Health and Physical Education Paraprofessional.
