On February 1st 2025, Braley Freire was officially named the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Bristol Community College. Director of Athletics and Recreation, Brian Fernandes stated, "We are fortunate to have Coach Freire continue to lead our program. She has shown a strong ability to connect with our student-athletes and focus on player development".
Braley Freire joined the Bristol staff as an assistant coach for the 2023 season. During the 2024 season, coach Braley took over the team as interim Head Coach. She led the group to a 3-3 record start, eventually earning a playoff berth and a top 4 seed.
Coach Braley was a four-year starter and captain at New Bedford High School. She continued her playing career at Bluefield University where she won the 2015 Golden Boot Award and the Female Performance of the Year Award in 2015. Coach Freire has over ten years of coaching soccer and physical training experience.
Coach Braley resides in New Bedford MA and is the owner of B.Balanced Fitness in Fairhaven MA.
