Bristol Improves to 12-1 with big win over the Caimans

Fall River, MA--Marcus McCarthy and Malik Morris proved to be a dynamic backcourt duo as they catapulted the 9th ranked Bayhawks to a 110 to 97 victory over a fine team from the Bronx in the Hostos Community College Caimans Thursday night at home at Bishop Connolly High School.

Marcus McCarthy led the team in scoring with 25 points as the sophomore also added 6 assists and 5 steals in the win while his freshman teammate Malik Morris had a stellar performance in his first start of his career launching a double double scoring 23 points, while pulling down 10 rebounds 7 of which were of the offensive variety.

Bristol improves to 12 and 1 on the season and will be competing this weekend in the CCRI Invitational in Warwick, Rhode Island playing against The National Champion runner up Nassau Community College from New York. Game time is at 2pm.
