Bayhawks Hold Off Wyverns, Win 85-84
On Tuesday January 30th, the Bristol Bayhawks held off the Quinsigamond Wyverns with a final score of 85-84. The Wyverns are currently the 3rd seed in Region 21 while the Bayhawks sit in 4th. Bristol was up by as many as 16 points in the first half before leading by 10 at halftime. A back and forth second half ended in a nail bitter as Bristol got a defensive stop on the last possession of the game. Bristol improves to 12-7 overall, 9-5 in conference play and 6-2 at home. 
 
Sophomore captain, Aidan Rock had 22 points and 15 rebounds. Rock hit 3 second half three-pointers and 2 clutch free-throws with a minute left to secure the win. Freshmen Camden Morin had 19 points and 4 blocks while Marquise Pina added 17 points and 5 rebounds. Coach Fernandes stated, "Rock would not let us lose this game! Bouncing back like this after a tough loss shows that we are a resilient group."  
 
The Bayhawks will play at home on Thursday, February 8th versus the Community College of Rhode Island.
