Bayhawks Season Ends in the Regional Quarterfinals

On Wednesday February 28, the #4 Bristol Bayhawks hosted the 5# Massasoit Warriors in the NJCAA Region XXI Quarterfinal playoff game. The Bayhawks led at halftime 35-34 before eventually losing with a final score 88-77. Bristol finishes the season with a 17-11 overall record. The Bayhawks were 14-8 in conference, 8-6 at home and 9-5 on the road.

Bristol was led in this game by Sophomore Captain Aidan Rock, who had 21 points and 15 rebounds. Freshman point guard Curran Farnworth had 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists as he finished the season as the Region's leader in assists with 6.9 per game. Bristol had a strong group of Freshman this season including the team's leading scorer, Marcus White who averaged 21 points per game. "We're proud of our accomplishments this season but excited about what we're building for next year!" coach Fernandes stated.
