On Friday September 20th, the Bristol Bayhawks traveled to Community College of Rhode Island. The Bayhawks in their first away game of the season got a 4-3 win over the Knights after a 2-2 1st half. This marks the first win on the road for the 2024 men's soccer program.

The Bayhawks had three different goal scorers in the game. Claudio Ramos (New Bedford MA) scored twice with the first and third goals of the game, assisted by Simon Pires (New Bedford, MA) and Lens Boursiqot (Fall River, MA), respectively. Kevin Herrera (New Bedford MA)  and Jason Riz (New Bedford, MA) all scored single goals during the contest with the latter being assisted by Claudio Ramos. Goalkeeper Kevin Sousa (New Bedford, MA) made 9 saves on 12 shots to help secure the win.

Bristol returns to action this Tuesday, September 24th. The Bayhawks will travel to Quinsigamond Community College (Worcester, MA). Please follow our athletics website and social media pages for more information.
