On Tuesday, October 8th, the Bristol Bayhawks hosted Community College of Rhode Island in a region 21 conference matchup. The previous non-conference matchup saw Bayhawks get a 4-3 win at the Knights campus. The night game saw a competitive and combative 1-1 draw bringing the Bayhawks to a 4-2-1 (3-2-1) record.

The game saw a great crowd for the Bayhawks *pink out* night and a 0-0 first half filled with moments on both ends of the field. In the second half the scoring opened with an early goal by CCRI on a transition moment. But this did not deter Bayhawks team or coaching staff, the team remained unified and resilient to find their equalizer off the foot of Kevin Herrera (New Bedford, MA). The goal capped a great defensive display from the backline and team overall.

Bristol will return to action this Saturday, October 12^th at 12:00pm. The Bayhawks will travel to Springfield Tech Community College in a 4^th versus 3^rd matchup in Region XXI play. Please follow our athletics website and social media pages for more information.
