After a shaky start to the season in their opener against UCONN Avery Point, Your Bayhawks Women's Basketball team has come back in a big way, winning their home opener against Vaughn 82-57, then on the road at Bunker Hill 65-60, and again this weekend winning two in New York at the Thanksgiving Classic; the first on Friday against Word of Life Bible College 99-23, and the second on Saturday against Mid-Atlantic Christian University 83-50.  Jayda Fortin (1) is currently second in the country for points scored per game with an average of 35 PPG!   It's turning out to be a momentous year for Bristol Women's Athletics as the Basketball season comes hot on the heels of the Women's soccer team which went to the regional championship for the first time in team history.  So far women's basketball is shaping up to repeat that success in their coming season.
