On Saturday September 7th, the Bristol Bayhawks Women's Soccer team hosted the Cougars of Holyoke Community College. After a competitive start, the Cougars led 1-0 at halftime. Holyoke eventually pulled off a 3-1 victory on the road.
Morgyn Riedl (Lakeville MA) scored the Bayhawks only goal off a rebound from her breakaway opportunity in the 58' minute. The game was tied 1-1 at that point, until penalty kick scores by Holyoke in the 74' and 89' minutes stretched the lead of the game.
Bristol returns to action this Saturday, September 14th on the road at Springfield Tech Community College. The Bayhawks will then host Springfield Tech on Wednesday, September 18th. All Bristol Women Soccer home games will be played at the Bristolcc Taunton center at 2 Hamilton street Taunton MA. Please follow our Athletics website and social media pages for more information.
